Daily Exercise
We understand the importance of keeping active and engaged as a means of staying healthy both mentally and physically. We encourage the physical health of our residents by offering chair side exercise weekly with Joanna, our Resident Service Coordinator. Deb Giamo, an exercise instructor, has been providing the Thursday morning exercise program, set to music, for the past 17 years.
Keene Recreational Center allows our folks a place to walk on an inside oval loop during winter snow or rainy days. Walking paths through our gardens are a joy during the good weather.
We recently added a Wii sport gaming system allowing our folks to go bowling right from their arm chair. The game is projected on our TV screen and this game has created some competition – the residents look forward to the highest scores being displayed.
